That's one of those photoshopped meme-y shenanigan things, right?
Oooh.....I'm not sure, she's tall and looks quite slim like a high jumper

They used photoshop as click bait, you can totally see the rough outline around Wang. Her reach is high, but not that high.

I know, I was just kidding
Why do you all think that Japan will win? So far, they've only beaten Dominican Republic which is a somewhat strong team. The other two were Bulgaria and Croatia...
hi guys
I'm wondering the same thing. ...
China without Zhu doesn't mean they are a weak team by any stretch
hi guys
so should Cai Bin go?
yes

Hi Guys
Why is everyone saying "Hi"
today ?
I am pleasantly surprised
Maybe call it my Chinese mentality of "Never good enough, always something to improve on" bias towards the China NT then
Surprised at this win - straight set win. Uncharacteristic of the Japanese doing badly offensively and defensively - they were so off today. 🇨🇳 did well but still not great. With the kind of performances so far, the next level is not there.

Japan was great defensively. it's the midlles of China they had problems with. to be fair those kind of quick attacks by the MBs are hard to defend. Japan could've won those 2 sets actually.

Did you watch the match ?
I'm watching the official highlights now, but what happened in the 2nd set that Japan actually took the lead (then later lost it)?
Watching Gong Xiang Yu play again after months of not watching, I suddenly noticed how her spike posture resembles a badminton stick smash. The power, if I'm not mistaken, is not generated through the shoulder rotation (as with the normal "S curve" wind-up for spikes) but rather the forearm and wrist

tthe middles of China happened more

sitenoise Wada's got an arm! and Araki's back row defense was on point.
I think most of us are fans of those two. Araki is a good setter, too, for a middle blocker

What's Wada's ranking as far as options go for Japan's wings? Is she the 4th, 5th, etc option?
Araki's float serve is nasty. I like it!
