Brazilian League 2013/2014

  • I've always been a fan of Malagurski, so i'm so happy that she is doing great here :) Off course many things still need to improve, especially her defensive skills but it the time will says

Who is liking this is Serbia coach heheheh

Brankica and Sanja doing great here, if they improve reception + Jovana, Maja, Milena and Stefana :rose: that can be a very very tough team

  • argh i was so tired last night so i couldnt watch it is there any videos of the match on youtube?

  • how is Bosetti performing so far??

She did very good last night.. she was even hitting like we know her (in junior championships with Italy) she did receive very good also.. One thing I loved is that she played and celebrated with that Brazilian passion, like they always do.. she scored and ran like Adenizia (... I hate when Adenizia does that) It's obvious she and Sanja are personally close with their teammates not just on the court.. Sanja also celebrated like that a couple of times..

thanks!! it is good to hear that, she is very important for our NT future...I hope she keeps on like this!! :box:

  • CBV announced to changes for the next season of the Brazilian League:

One is that they decided to define a rule to choose the place where the final will be played ( still only one match..so for me still all wrong...so its still stupid...anyway..). It was defined that the Final will be played in the city from the team that ends the regular phase first in the standings (Its definitely more fair than the way its now...with CBV choosing randowly...but its not a solution for me yet).

Its was also defined that The League will have 12 teams in women and men's competition. (The 8 best from the previous league + the champion from B league + 3 other spots to be defined in a qualification tournament, that might have inivitations to new teams that appear in brazilian volleyball).

She did some good matches...but its hard to make an avaliation I guess...cause her team does not help at all!!! :P Minas has a very unexperient team this season (appart from Arlene). But she is a talented player..I think she has the skills to grow professionally...she needs to become a bit faster imo, but she has a good base and a strong attack.

I saw one match...they played her at Middle Blocker... :what:

  • can you give some information on Andressa Hermínia Gelenski Picussa ? what about her level ?

She is a 24 years old, 1,92m MB. She was very primising when she was in Volei Futuro. She did well both seasons there. Zé Roberto took her to play in Campinas last season..but she didnt repeat the good level.

This year Pinheiros signed with her in the beginning of season. She is a balanced player, good block and good attack. I think if she had received more space she would have grown more. She is tall, but not the fastest. She is not Harmotto, but she has potencial imo.

  • Yesterday started the second phase of the Brazilian league.
