    So strange day: Pomì had the opportunity to kick back Modena and confirm the first place but lost so badly. Conegliano lost against Novara that wasn't so stable lately due to all the rumours and lost the opportunity to grab the first place. Foppa lost to Club Italia, the 2nd unexpected defeat in a row against "less strong teams". So top teams are all there, Scandicci is doing good too, Foppa is struggling and teams as Montichiari or Vicenza are doing better than expected. Really I'm going to give up trying to understand this league... ?(

    I was at Palapanini and everything gone well for us (Di Iulio and Horvath seemed Del Core of her best years, Ferretti schooled Lloyd in every aspects).

    Bergamo is in a really bad period at the moment, losing to Piacenza who played without Ognjenović (why?), Meijners and Bauer (in the last two sets) and with Sorokaite having really lousy stats.


    Novara managed to pull off a victory against Scandicci in the end, Cruz apparently had a nightmare of a match.

    I asked this before but just by looking at the stats, is Hagglund crazy? She keeps setting mostly to Karsta Lowe who scores around 35% so far and sets only around 20 balls per game to Gözde Yilmaz, who is actually an OPP and is supposed to be an attacking OH? I gotta watch the next game of Yamamay! Did anyone watch any of their games recently and can explain the distribution of Hagglund?

    I have watched some of Busto matches and honestly, Gozde is not playing that well, not like she was couple of seasons ago. The reception of Busto is a bit shaky also, so Its easier to count in the opp, who is an open option. Its must riskier to set to OH when she just made a bad reception, just cause she wont have time to prepare herself to be balanced for a good spike. Maybe that is why Hagglund is playing more with Lowe.

    You should watch Yilmaz's performance, she's not really playing well. Busto is probably one of the youngest teams in Serie I think, along with Club Italia, we gotta wait a little bit :)

    She's really doing great. I don't think she's ever been this consistent. Unfortunately, the rest of the team looks somewhat shaky at the moment. Lloyd could't get much going with her MBs, so she started avoiding them after a while, which limits her choices quite a lot as Piccinini is no longer an option in attack. But even though Stevanović struggled to put her spikes down, she's such a huge presence at the net.


    Bolzano's 18 year old Spanish setter Anna Newsome is such a fun player! She's tipping, she's spiking, she's setting all over the court. :D Of course, she makes mistakes due to her immaturity, but it will be interesting to see how she develops.
