    Boskovic's injury was unfortunate and Imoco has a great team this year. You guys saw that last year Vakifbank with an injured Zhu Ting stood no chance against Imoco as well (3rd and 4th sets). Eczacibasi will be fine, I still think Eczacibasi holds slight advantage in VVSL this year if both Boskovic and Beyza stay healthy. Vakifbank's dominance will probably end after this year, they will still be competitive next year, but Haak+Gabi won't be as good as Zhu+Sloetjes for sure.

    no we are not hard on ecz and their dumb managment deserves every bit of so called hate they get now cause fans have been warning them since day 1 of this teams year that they have crappy mb that can t block all of theirs mb are on a short side as well none are above 1.88 exept beyza we saw with adams that when u have a shorter mb, players are able to spike just above u that is why best blocking mbs are tall exeption are carol and adenizia who are shorter but they jump high so that makes their height of the block on the same level as taller mbs ,they have crappy setter and they wasted money on kim that is past her prime time and i think they will make a same mistake with natalia i personally think gabi would be mutch better choice for ecz

    I remember so well when Kim transferring to Vitra was still a rumor, some users here were clamoring how Vitra would be really strong for the next season. And now that she is struggling, people say she is past her prime and that it was a waste of money hiring her like... :whistle:

    Eczacibasi made one of the best teams in World they are not guilty because they lost against better team. Better won that night.


    Conegliano is great team with fast game, great defence with one the best setters, libero, MBs duo. Hill was MVP, Sylla the best OH at last WCH etc. This is not strange at all,..

    i never said such a thing so u can blast those people as mutch as u want from day 1 i saw they gonna have big issues with blocking mbs and setter and i thought kim would be decent enough which to be honest she wasnt

    Eczacibasi's failure is not because just Kim is past her prime. Their Setter and MB is too weak. In the last match, Kim was also really bad in the first and second set but the rest sets did good and she is the best scorer, receiver, server in Eczacibasi side. Both ezgi and gamze are too shaky so not suitable for big team. Both Gibbemeyer and Busra do nothing when they meet a strong team. Motta should have changed the lotation of Larson and Kim or sub in Meliha. When Kim and Boskovic were at the backrow at the same time, they could't make it and Larson and Gibbemeyer couldn't score any single point in the Golden Set. And the fourth set of Kimberly Hill's attack was clearly blocked on the court:down:

    i do agree with this post i said many times their main problems are mbs and setter but it doesnt help when the 2 oh that should be a backup for boskovic cant kill a ball reason vakif is so succusseful because there is allways someone to back zhu up be it sloetjes,rasic or kelsey so when u know u have teammates that can back u up u are playing way more relaxed volleyball as well which in turn causes u to play better,boskovic is allways under pressure cause she knows if she doesnt deliver big time ecz is gonna lose loads of times she delivered and they still lost due to awful contribution of her team mates busra and gibby played 7 sets against imoco and only got 2 -3 blocks folie alone got those numbers in first set if i m not mistaken

    Sylla received 63 balls...while Hill only 20. This was Motta`s strategy to serve on Sylla. But this thing of targeting one player is stupid and never works.....Hill got a lot of Kills because she was not passing and was free to attack. While Sylla`s job was to mainly receiving during the whole night, and her reception was very good....but stupid Motta never realized that.


    If Boskovic could play at least 2 sets. He should have started with her and they would easily have won the first set. This would have put a lot of pressure on Conegliano already. But instead he lets Conegliano open 2-0 without putting any pressure on them.


    Larson could not score a point to save her life. But she never got replaced. Meliha certainly could have done no worse than her. After the first 3 sets Fabris had already been replaced, Lowe only had 30% in attack, while Hill and Robin 35%...Sylla had 40% but she did not get as many sets.....which means Conegliano was not even playing that well......but on Vitra`s side nobody could score either....u can`t win without scoring points. In the 4th and Golden Set is when Conegliano played better....and of course they played better as they were very confident at that point and Vitra did not put any pressure on them.


    Gamze should have started after they were down 0-2.....They lost because Motta is a terrible coach and unable to make adjustments as the match goes on.

    So both Conegliano and Vakifbank are gone play their second matches at home.

    Is their gone be match for 3rd place ?


    I'm really interested how will Novara perform against Vakifbank. It will be all about Egonu against Vakifbank, can finally rest of team help her ?

    Can Picci reach in her last season CL final again, and make her even more bigger than She is already. My God what a legend She is.


    Did Italian teams ever won all 3 CEV cups in the same year ?? Busto and Monza are very close, now We need to wait for Novara and Conegliano.

    Adenizia is a great option too but I've been too far removed from women's volleyball for too long to know if she's available in the market next season.

    Adenizia has another contract year with Scandicci. Stevanovic signed for 3 years.
