Instead of hiring a foreign coach why don't Korea try their own? from their league. Both the players and coaches are having a hard time understanding each other.
-
Why does the players of Korea look like they can't jump?

because then KVA wouldn't have a scapegoat for their shortcomings

Good luck rooting for a team coached by Vital Heynen
what he doing until now is a mess !! He don’t understand woman volleyball
-
González is 1000% useless as Headcoach. Poor Korea
well he helped the team win 1 set against Turkey at least lol
The biggest problem are still the players, no one can score more than 15 points (except Go Yerim in 1 match)
There was an article today about Korea volleyball investing money to aim for Paris Olympics
I think they can dream on about even winning a match on the international stage without the twins at this rate, or at least without Lee Jaeyeong.
(slight exaggeration... surely they can win Indonesia and Philippines? Vietnam has a stronger player now though, and Chinese Taipei aren't that weak)I knew they'd lose almost all their matches, but never expected them to be this awful...
Such a pity, I loved the team since WCH 2019

They had always used a local coach, until Lavarini happened and speed volleyball brought Korea volleyball to a new height.
But Lavarini didn't want to continue so Korea volleyball decided to let Cesar (assistant coach) give it a try - this is only his first tournament with Korea

hey 14-11 up so far

Lavarini wasn't a problem in the Olympics...KYK basically carried this team.
If they are playing this badly, do the twins come back? I mean they can't go anywhere but up from this point...

The twins are not going to come back. Korean netizens will not give them a chance and KVA obviously will listen to those fans.

Korea's pride is bigger than their Olympic dream. they'd rather lose their Olympic chances than eat their words

that's a shame. someone should try to naturalize them

I am just giving options, because if you are watching the current product, it isn't working....
I mean through the 1st set today, South Korea has won only 1 set in 26 played......Maybe the twins make it 2 or 3......

yea. the toxic Korean netizens. no wonder their suicide rate is very high.

are they.... i don't think they are

2nd set wasn't as bad the first one for Korea. but dang, for a taller team, they give so many blocks.
-
sigh, choked the lead away, 23-17.
at least thailand is well on their way to final 8
-
Am I seeing this right?
Someone hung a banner for the twins in the stands "come back Lee Jaeyeong I miss you Lee Dayeong" 😂
Anyway, loving the new Thailand team
Fab five was a nice generation, but this new team retains the great chemistry along with much more talent and potential
Hope they keep getting better

Who was the Korean player who kind of "burst out" at the Olympics? Is she here?
-
South Korea has been eliminated from the Finals as they cannot catch Thailand on points.
