Planisec had good season in Aydin, she goes to play with Gamze and they didn’t find connection not even in 1 game.
When the 2nd setter was playing with Planisec (few times) she was hitting around 50%.
Same this year with Popovic that she is much better player than Planisec.
The problem is Gamze she can’t set the MBs quick in my opinion…Sasa was hitting 47.8% last season and this season she hits with around 45%.
More importantly, when Sasa came to GS, she was a mess, took a pause and noone knew what she did for a year or more except being in China for some months. It took a whole season to bring her back. When she played in Aydin, she was in her prime time and that was before she took all those breaks. So she is nowhere to be compared.
If you want to watch how Gamze sets to middles, check the season GS beat Vakifbank in Turkish semi-finals 6-7 years ago. She was feeding Asli non-stop. Too bad there are no stats from that season.
I know they are sliders but both Jack and Jackson also had great swings with Gamze from zone 3. Only player I remember who had troubles was Ruseva but she had troubles in attacking with Wolosz too.
Mina and Gamze need time, question is, how long will it take and will it be too late to make GS lose hopes of making it to top 4.

Akyol is a pleasure to watch!GS has their MBs in first ranking positions.Very good in blocking,serving.Anthi in scoring,blocking,even in passing she is at the same % with Gizem Orge
,and better than Voronkova.Ilkin looks better in all statistics than last year.
Guresen and Gamze constantly on high class level.Gamze is my favorite turkish setter.
Otoh what can we say of the opposite position?
Think about,that Olympiakos(not of a high level team in comparison with turkish clubs)rejected the American player...
Last year GS started with a shiny Carutasu and a so so MBs.This year found a high level MBs and an awful op.
What a pity...Fedorovtseva is a supergirl.

It's not just her individual stats that are so astonishing like that she is currently the 1st scorer, but how much her play is contributing to her team's success. Okay look, I know there's only been 4 games so far, but many Turkish users here were saying prior to the start of the season that her team is one of the weakest in the league (some said bottom 2). And for Bianka Busa to make such a team, a team with no other half-way reliable scorer apart from her, in the top 5 (alongside the 4 biggest names Vakif, Fener, Ecza and THY) after 4 rounds in the second best league in the world...

as pre-season predictions, Ilbank was pointed as the weakest by almost everyone. sigorta shop, Bolu and nilüfer were the other 3 who are predicted not to make it to playoffs. I didnt see anyone pointing PTT out as one of the weakest teams. Most people including me were doubting because of Caric and her injury history. So far it seems like this was a fair concern.By the way another person who doesn't get enough credit in PTT is Merve Tanyel. She is playing very solid so far although she is one of the shortest outsides of the league. She attacked with 39% (Busa with 40%)
As Bogdan mentioned, PTT played against 3 worst teams of the league and they lost against only decent team they met. Now they have matches against FB and Eczacıbaşı. We can tell more about their capacity after these two games

But Busa was good even in that game against Cukurova. I don't know where the PTT will end, but Busa capacity is obvious and games against FB and Ecz will not change that. Not that she is just scorer machine with not so impresive succ. % rate, but she is also slaying in reception, serve and defense. Let it last

Because there is something in-between "she is so far making great success with a hugely underwhelming team" and "she'll lead the team to titles".
