Japan - V.League V1 (Division 1, Women) 2022-2023

  • so the standings have kinda returned to the usual v.league standings after week 3 :box:

The chaos was fun while it lasted tho

  • I love it when Cuttino scores :)

  • Kurobe is totally in 8th place :super:

  • Toyota should try a few more service errors to help maintain their lead

  • inching toward an 0–2 comeback by Toyota :box: That's what you get PFU for benching Watabiki

Cuttino is having game. I figured out her secret: she's unreadable

It's eerie how PFU beat Toyota 107–104 the same way Saitama beat JT 107–104

  • Blimey, with their win Toyota jumped 4 places to 8th in the standings replacing Kurobe :|

  • Didn't catch the live match, only watched the highlights:

Damn that one-woman block by Tanaka on Meguro Aki in yesterday's match :super:

  • How many points did Sara Lozo and Tuğba have?

  • How many points did Sara Lozo and Tuğba have?

    Lozo 25 (22/65 (34%) 5 err. + 2 bl. + 1 ace)

    Tugba 7 (6/17 (35%) + 1 bl.)

  • so looking the stats today.

Quick fun question, which team had 4 more aces, 1 less service error and 2 blocks that their opponent (so +7 points) and still lost 3-0 and -10 points (76-66).

Your answer is Kurobe vs. Denso.

Pimpichaya did fine with 19 spikes, but they basically are getting nothing from anyone else. 18 spikes from 6 players, in 3 sets, literally 1 point per set per player. Can’t win like that.

considering how competitive the league is, you have to have the ball hitting the flow.

  • Lozo 25 (22/65 (34%) 5 err. + 2 bl. + 1 ace)

    Tugba 7 (6/17 (35%) + 1 bl.)

Good match for Lozo, in Japan with everyone's defense skills it's normal to not hit 40-50% all the time imo.

Tuğba needs to work on her presence already, she has been a ghost so far...

    That wasn't fun :tzz:

Kurobe went .5 bare nekkid legs in the middle last night for some inexplicable reason. This proved to be a glaring distraction for the MB scoring powerhouse Maki Yamaguchi. Only 2 blocks and 2/16 . When they finally put knee pads on it was too late, just like when PFU brought back Watabiki in the tie break. Too late is too late

    Denso's MBs = 15/28 , Kurobe's MBs = 5/27 ... there's your 10 points. Not to mention Neriman

    #gogoKurobe :super:

Lozo has a better back attack than I remember, and she seems like she already gets how to be sneaky

V.League is like a big back attack party this year. Even in V2. It's all over the place. I love it :rose:

  • Kurobe is totally in 8th place :super:

Blimey, with their win Toyota jumped 4 places to 8th in the standings replacing Kurobe :|

If it were anyone but Toyota I'd be upset

Kurobe has SAGA, JT, and NEC to finish out this first round =O

Toyota has JT, Okayama, and Denso

  • Mayu finally made TOP 2:box:
