Very important win for Iran, specially because Iran usually starts slow in tournaments. it's easy to say these things about Australia when they played this bad but people should remember Australia always played in another level when it comes to Olympic qualifier.

While an iranian victory surely doesn't come as a surprise, i did not expect that kind of dominance. I feel sorry for Paul Carroll, that he could't take his chance today, after a very good season for Berlin. Australian setter did not help a lot, but Paul can do better for sure.

I didnt expect that Canada is playing good. I am still surprised how the young (very young) cuban team defeated them in the Norceca qualifier.
It would be a surprise if POL, FRA, IRI and CAN dont qualify. I dont see China, Australia, Venezuela or Japan doing an upset.
