    Serie A this year is indeed very interesting.


    Conegliano, Busto, Pomi and Piacenza are strong contenders for the title. The reason for that is because they are very balanced teams. Novara is a contender too but the team has inconsistent OHs. Last season's Novara was stronger than this year.

    Bahar's attacking performance is positively surprising :white: I hope she would keep this level till January. :whistle:

    It's nice to see Bahar performing this good but I agree that she will have troubles to find a spot in the NT. Eda's place is guaranteed unless she is injured and Akman is playing with 19 kills + 11 blocks in 3 games so far. Not her best shape yet but still good. However, it will be really nice to see Bahar in the NT, although she sits at the bench.

    Everybody would agree that blocking has never been her best strength :rolleyes: So no surprise to me. Although she doesn't deserve to be starter in front of Eda and Kübra, I think she would contribute to the team more than Özgenur or Dicle especially in the case of Eda's injury, there must be someone who is experienced :S

    Bahar has always been a better blocker than attacker.. she has some issues reading where sets would go, but when she's there she blocks really well. That's why I'm surprised she has one or none blocks per match

    Yeah everyone are playing so bad...what is up with Bosseti ??
    They should transfer some good setter.

    It looks pretty clear Novara is no longer a title contender, as I said days ago.


    Casalmaggiore keeps improving. Novara doen't. If you remember the Supercup game, you know what I mean. And right now Casalmaggiore is showing a fighting spirit that I don't see from the other 2 top teams of the league. Novara at its best will reach CEV Cup qualification. Casalmaggiore will fight to defend the title against Piacenza and Conegliano.


    I would have never thought I could say this: I liked Kozuch. The outplayed Fabris, not about the points she scored, but the way she took care of the garbage she had to fix, the way she smiled at her mates, the way she showed a fire inside burning during the match. Fabris wa so off. She couldn't fix anything. She looked bored and pissed off by her setter. Well, Signorile's setting could kill any spiker in the world, let's be honest about it.


    Pedullà should seriuosly think about changing the starting setter. Bosio looks ways more promising than Signorile.

    Is Bosetti injuried ?
    Yeah this one of the worst performance by Fabris for sure in seria A.


    If they have only 2 foriegn players in the court.(If we count Bosetti as starter), why they didn't sign some good foriegn setter or 1 very good OH, Malešević or Rousseaux are bad transfers.
    Is it better to sign two averge player or 1 very good player ?

    Yes Bosetti is injured, at the ankle if I'm not mistaken.


    Ravens I agree with you: Casalmaggiore is improving, Lloyd has better and better connection with her players, so many fast balls to Kozuch and the MBs, I think she is playing really good lately, like in her first year in Busto. On the other hand Signorile looks so insicure and fragile..I'm sorry for her but she is playing really bad! Maybe she did never overcome the psychological problems she had this summer.

    According to La Stampa Novara:


    -Signorile may be cut in january because of her terrible last performances
    -Bosio may be the new starter of the team from january
    -They are looking for a replacement for Signorile


    -They are looking for a new high level OH
    -Not sure if someone will be cut among the current OHs


    It also says they're not satisfied by the physical strength of the team, that's why they want a physically dominant OH. And they want to win.


    Elsewhere I read Pedullà could be fired as well. The club could hire Carlo Parisi.
