Display MoreThe DJ in Rimini really slayed btw, with the K-pop bangers, some Japanese and Turkish songs tonight.
Their knowledge on some Turkish songs had me shook this week, definitely did research.
Had a sense of humour as well. For example playing: Turkish Cowboylar (a song I even completely forgot about lol) when Turkey was fighting back vs USA.
Lyrics for that song: ''oh oh get out of the way, they are from the wild west, Americans are out of fashion now these are Turkish cowboys(lar)''
I know it's so random, it's a parody song. But in that moment it really cracked me up hearing it XD
DJ was more prepared than some of the commentators

but does the dj know 5 languages
Brazil would have to win for Gabi to be MVP.
I'm putting my money on MBH (or Washington as a dark horse)
Congrats to Turkey for the medal and Japan for going that far being here!
Just wonder, two matches between these two teams within two week interval...
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE between this Bronze medal match of TUR vs. JPN (3-0) and the prelim match of TUR vs. JPN (1-3) -- same lineup, just about two weeks ago, WHY the match be so different with the opposite outcome?
What made such difference as the scores are not tight, so no "luck factor" here.
Throughout the whole tournament IMO Tandara was better than both Brazilian OHs. She is the one who deserves to be the MVP if Brazil wins.

Washington please!!! The girl has been on fire this whole tournament!! (but I'd be ok with whomever contributes more for the USA to win this)

Turkey's OH duo was different and everyone chose to play today which made Japan chose they won't be playing today.
The contribution of the OHs in all seriousness was really helpful, it makes Ebrar play better and more confident knowing there are other players that can help her out when she is off during a set I notice.

Wasn't same Turkey squad

She should get the best coach award

She's terminating at 60% and has just 4 (!) errors the entire tournament. She's been really underrated. Plus her blocking and ace numbers are good as well.
Ebrar had 10 points in the 2nd set and 13 in the 3rd
She surely chose to compete
Brazil will win
ahhh can't wait to see who will choose to be the VNL champion this year
