Guys how Fidon is doing this season? Her last one in Grecce was awful
Her stats aren't too great, but she provides a lot of stability to her team. It's hard to judge her performance because Suhl had such a difficult season with their setter trouble, but she definitely isn't "awful" IMO.
TV match today 17:00 CET will be Neuwied vs Aachen (stream). AFAIK the TV contract grants every team of the league at least one free TV match which is why today we get to watch Neuwied even though it surely won't be the most entertaining TV match possible I just hope they'll at least put up a decent fight...

Vilsbiburg with only 8 players against Potsdam..

MVP: Yasmine Madsen / Hilary Howe
Erfurt - Dresden 2:3 (25:19 22:25 18:25 25:20 10:15)
https://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2022-23/Women/2091.pdf
MVP: Vera Mulder / Monique Strubbe
Another very good match by Mulder Grabovska seems to have a great connection with Strubbe but none at all with Haneline
Potsdam - Vilsbiburg 3:0 (25:19 25:19 25:21)
https://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2022-23/Women/2092.pdf
MVP: Anett Nemeth / Suvi Kokkonen
Arbos, Thompson and Segovia were absent due to illness, so Soto had to play as OPP. For those circumstances Vilsbiburg put up a good fight though...
Schwerin - Suhl 3:1 (25:19 21:25 25:19 25:21)
https://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2022-23/Women/2095.pdf
MVP: Anne Hölzig / Danielle Harbin
This season it seems a rule that Alsmeier and Ruddins can never play well in the same match
Münster - Stuttgart 0:3 (20:25 19:25 25:27)

MVP: Maria Schlegel / Krystal Rivers

I think there's no final decision yet whether Straubing will try to stay in 1.Bundesliga.

Lilly Topić will take a break from volleyball for health reasons:

Some Clubs announced their First Contracts for the Next Session:

Sorry to hear that! Sweden doesn't have much players on international level, losing her would harm them, not that she was great of course

Kohn will leave Stuttgart after the season to get more playing time.

She was their best middle and many people here were saying she doesn't belong to international level. I think they will have to play with Andersson and Wasserfaller.

I think, this is the final decision, that the first league will still have only 11 teams, because if I read this PM correctly, these are final wishes and the clubs can't change after the VBL agreed. But we will see, how it plays out.
Anyway, regarding this so far unknown team from Flacht, part of Weissach, I remind, that Porsche has a test track there and maybe sponsoring them? This could develop into a dangerous team in perspective then.

I know I repeat myself...but it's always the same with Stuttgart and young (german) talents...
But to be honest she actually got quite some time on the court. But mostly because Bongaerts was absent or against weak opponents. But she did good matches then and also got rewarded as MVP. Must be very depressing not to get a chance in the other matches.
I can't read the whole article. Was it her decision or did Stuttgart decide to part ways?
I wonder where she will go then.. -
It sounds like it was her decision. She talked to the club management and coach, it sounds like they agreed that it would be best for her to play somewhere else since she's unhappy with the time she gets on court. Renkema said they will keep watching her, "A return is absolutely not ruled out" ("Eine Rückkehr ist absolut nicht ausgeschlossen.“). Seems the tone was much more amicable compared to when Berger left.
I assume they told her that they will either keep Bongaerts or have a setter on the same level. So her chances of becoming the starter next season weren't too good.

Despite having a contract for the next two seasons it seems like van Aalen to Vakifbank is almost a done deal...

That's the downside of playing CL, suddenly the big clubs discover possible transfers and make them happen I would be very happy if she really gets that opportunity, but OTOH I hope it wouldn't be a too big step. IMO she should go to a good Italian team first to constantly practise on highest level and keep improving before she goes to a club that expects top performances all the time.

TV match today 20.00 CET Stuttgart vs Potsdam (stream)
Under normal circumstances this would be a very good match, but I think today Stuttgart is the clear favourite. Potsdam's preparation is surely directed towards the Cup final next weekend, so today's match plus the CEV Cup match next week aren't very welcome for them. Emonts still hasn't fully recovered from her knee problems and Savic had muscular problems lately, I expect them not to take any risks. Besides, due to Viggars' departure Van Aalen is the only available setter for Potsdam for the Cup final, so I wonder if Robitaille might get a little more court time today and vs Scandicci, but OTOH Hernandez usually relies on his starting six no matter what...
-
I would not worry about Emonts, Savolkoel is best Potsdam player for a while now.

Straubing posted on volleybox they're looking for players for next season....
