Since Cuneo will play against Club Italia in the last match, they have a much higher chance to take 8th place.
Bergamo and Brescia can hardly enter the play-off phase.
I'm always too harsh with her but I wish Arrighetti will retire after this season, she was a very good player but right now it's simply painful to watch her perform like this.
Scandicci has lost many games recently, there's clearly something wrong.Haak is struggling in every phase of the game. Vasileva with 1/14 in attack Also Lucia is playing bad lately
Smarzek had a very bad start but then she got better every match. She and Olivotto were Bergamo's best players this season. I also like Courtney, she's a smooth passer

Arrighetti. No setter in the world can provide her those balls on the net she uses to kill. She was quite good when she tried the slides.
Vasileva....
I wonder what will happen to Vasilieva after that season. She will probably want to stay in Italy because of Atanasijevic, but I dont think there is a club which would like to spend that much money on her (there were rumors that she earned about 1 million in Kazan). So she have to reduce her salary expectations and go to some mid teams or be a sub in top club.
I`m so happy for Bergamo, but unfortunately they have litttle chance to take 8th spot....

On the other hand that match is meaningless for Conegliano, but the other not for Bergamo. So let's wait, if Conegliano goes for a win with all players?

Conegliano lost in Brescia - this looks very much like, that it didn't matter at all for them after already winning the league round.
Brescia is the best team in the world.
Brescia is the best team in the world.
This is not TL
I thought you know that ?
So now it is official that Bergamo is out after
Cuneo took 1 point from Novara.
Such a disappointment by Bergamo, I hope they keep Courtney, she's a good defensive OH and her approach to attacks is enjoyable to watch (at least for me). I expected more from Tapp to be honest, she was completely invisible during the season. The same thing about Acosta and Mingardi, they failed as an offensive wing-spikers. They should build a team for next season around Cambi - Olivotto - Smarzek - Courtney - Siressi and Carraro.
If Smarzek had played from the beginning as she did in the 2nd half of the season, Bergamo would have had much better chances to make the playoff. But OK, she's a young player and obviously she needed time to adapt and by now she really arrived, so next season she can be a key player from the beginning.
I think it is such a waste of Mingardi to play as OH. She was very dominant last season as OPP. Well, she may develop to be a good OH in the future but her sudden conversion also paid the price for Bergamo.
I wonder who will be named MVP for the regular season. I don't see any standout.
Fabris and Haak were a big letdown. Smarzek and Lippman only played well half season.
Setters (besides Woloz and Oro) was a show of horror. ( I liked Tominaga and Di Lulio).
But we saw some really good things on the OH with Anthi, Orthmann, Nika, Vilani and Sylla proved she can play for a top team.... Her 63 receptions in a win against Vitra shows exactly what she can do.
I guess Egonu should be MVP...I really don't see anyone else who actually deserves it.
As far as I know there's never been the Mvp of the regular season, there's the gazzetta award but I don't think it's an official award . The Lega only gives the Mvp to the best player of the finals.
I completely disagree about the setters being an horrow show

Dominant sounds like a big word to me but yeah, she was quite good last year as opposite. I can't see her as OH, she can't pass at a decent level
