TBH i am little bit suprised with this transfer, i don't expext at all this, but more than everything i want Mirkovic prove herself on senior level as she done in youth categories.

For Ezcacibasi we will see are this transfer is good or not, but for Mirkovic this is amazing at least for her self confidence, other thing that is significant to mention is that she had very good conection with Boskovic on court (Vizura period) and in private life these two are the best friends plus Cikiriz, surely we can expect good chemistry next year in Eczacibasi and very young squad.

Interesting choice. I don't know a lot about Mirkovic but Gamze could do the same work IMO.

I believe Mirkovic is a risky choice, even more so if the back up setter they signed is as bad as people said over here

I agree and she is very young so I don't want to be too critical but...she was... beyond horrible.

I can fully understand it. She spent much time in Poland (Police) and was promoted very much by Abbondanza however was not good in setting. Then followed Abbondanza to Bergamo and did play well as well. She is just OK but will not be able to replace Carli who had an average season in Eczacibasi. However her self-esteem does not correspond to her level of play

Well, Mirković is a good blocker and has nice tips, but let's be honest, in terms of setting she's average. Apart from that, she's not that young. I guess, she's 25 now. It's a big chance for her, maybe she'll improve. She was bad in Poland, but better in Italy. I did not like her under Abbondanza, sometimes I felt that she was bullied. He's agressive and puts a lot of pressure on players. Vakifbank will be dominating in Turkey easily, unless Fenerbahce surprise us, but I don't see Eczacibasi as a champion.

I think runnerupster meant Elif, Eczacibasi’s back up setter.

Kuzeyboru has also transferred Sabriye and Hümay from Nilüfer.

I hope they keep Dajana and we can see how Boskovic sisters are facing each other.

I actually really like the transfer of Mirkovic. In Poland she received many negative opinions, mostly because she was the reason why Plesnierowicz got benched. Now Plesnierowicz plays great but then she sometimes made like 3 double touch mistakes in one set. Mirkovic is not a special setter but she is not bad also + as Tyler said - she has really nice tips.

So Tijana will Finally play with her best friend again. IMO this transfer is a big risk for a team like Eczacibasi, but it may pay off.

I don't mind too much an immediate scream before turning around but the strutty stuff makes you look kind of yucky when you end up losing

Yes, she is great and talented. I'm so curious about how Kuzeyboru will get next to her. Since they have a local prospect they can get a foreign player also.

I agree, she lacks a bit of arm strength/muscle but her technique is good and she is quite an all-around OH, being a local is obviously a big advantage as well.
