No, Ebata got injured prior to World Championships. Plus they played the same position as opposite.

Sakoda was Japan’s middle/oh in the 2013 World Grand Champions Cup against Thailand, but I really don't remember much about that tournament anymore. She didn't play much in the 2014 World Grand Prix, she injured her shoulder during the 2013/14 season and was probably still in rehab at the time.

Sekita and Fujii are the main setters of the NT, but Sekita starts most of their games

Ran isn't hot, he has the body of a 14 year old boy and has about as much charisma as a 10 year old boy. But he is so pretty.
Speaking of goodlooking, Saori Kimura married an ugly beach volleyball player so it doesn't really matter. Mayu isn't ugly, she's one of the best in her generation and the Ishikawa family is wealthy and well-known.

It's not known how many volleyball players are currently dating each other and we will never really know but Ebata did say during her online interview with Sakoda some time in August that it is very common. About as common as students dating each other in the same school.
Yujiro Hidaka I believe is Saori's childhood friend, they go way back.
