Well there will be a next season for them, the question is just whether it's going to be in 1st or 2nd league. Right now 2nd league looks more likely, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility that they somehow manage to have another try in 1st league.

I am very happy for Stuttgart and for the league as well that she is staying she is such a strong player and person.
However, a part of me is curious to see what Stuttgart is capable of without her and this part is growing bigger and bigger each season

Every season I have the hope that I will see her in Italy or Turkey and every time the same thing.
Anyway I hope that she will continue to be happy in Germany.

Stuttgart won against Busto last season without her, a phenomenal game by Lee. In the season before Rivers was missing in parts of the Bundesliga finals against Dresden, the ohs couldn't carry the load especially in game 5, in game 4 Stuttgart managed to get to the tie break without her with Segura and Mljenkova.

She can’t go to Italy or Turkey because no one will pay this money for her that is not sure that she will play in the most important games. She is really good player but with her illness she can’t go in my opinion to big big teams.
I think she just really appreciates that Stuttgart gives her the opportunity to focus on her health besides playing volleyball even though that means she will miss matches. I doubt that the top italian or turkish teams would do the same...

Yes you are right and I know aboyt her health. But my point its just that the nature gave her an incredible talend ( yes guys incredible because there is not an other opposite in the world in this level with her height) and at the same time gave her much health problems. Such an irony. She could be in the top in club level and also in NT. She has the skills and she fit in something bigger that is I am trying to say . And if she recover from her problem could be great to see her somewhere else
I think it is beautiful that some players stay in the same club for a long time and become iconic. Gözde in Vakıfbank, Eda in FB, Ravva in Cannes, Wolosz in Conegliano etc.

By all means, she can go play in Turkey but not in any of the top clubs. She's also past her prime at this point.

The main goal was to give Grabovska time on court since she will be the main setter for the next weeks, but she is ill so Larissa Winter will be their only setter today. The recovery of Straube is doing well and she is optimistic to be on the court again this season.
Julia Wesser has recovered from her illnes and started with light training again. But I guess it will still take a while until she will be able to play again.

Well, you also have to be honest and say that this test match only took place because of Nawaro Straubing's withdrawal. Because last week Dresden had actually played against Nawaro, which of course didn't take place for the reason mentioned. That's why Dresdner SC was looking for a substitute opponent for this game. Certainly also with the background that they would otherwise have two weeks without a game because of the cup final. In the end, this weekend without games was also the good thing, because no opponent was found for the actual game date last week. But with Wroclaw for this Friday and I have to say that the friendly was very worthwhile.
