Bajema is worse every year and Cazute
Oh yes. To be honest it seems to me like she is following the footsteps of Plak.

I didn't expect Santarelli to start with Lanier. He said it's no longer time for turn over and that he wants his players to be at best for the most important games of the season, maybe he changed his mind.
Lanier was nothing special (her passing a little bit too weak IMHO) in this game, but Imoco was Imoco and took 3 points.
Why do we have to listen this st*pid American woman who had never seen any pro volleyball game before taking this job? She is even ruining the greatest commentator fivb has with her color commentating.
Akimova still plays like she is 17 years old. Her game is not getting matured. So many unforced errors.
OT, but the official FIVB commentator for many events also commented the U16 Winter Olympics short track and he was even more clueless than he is about volleyball.
It's Coppa Italia semifinals day and I'm curious to see what will happen. While Conegliano looks like the clear favourite, if I were Santarelli I wouldn't sleep on Chieri, because they showed they can be hard to kill. I'm in trouble when it comes to Milano-Scandicci, but I have a feeling the match will be either fantastic or a festival of messines.
That floor looks nice But then, every single shade less of pink and purple is an improvement to their usual floor

I actually like the usual floor because I don't get distracted by the ads as much as with the basketball/handball lines of some other courts I've seen but just tuned in and this is a good alternative, less pink but the outsides still colourful so the lines are clear! And my brain can't handle watching Italian volleyball without at least a dash of pink/purple on the screen
Weitzel blocks like a 1.70 player It seems she can only play well in NT, she looks completely lost on this level right now!
Haak and Fahr are out of this world. Probably the best players in their position right now. Chieri was without fire in their eyes in the first set. Pretty stressed.
I never understand why Chieri is insisting on Grobelna for a long time. She doesn’t belong this level and of course Malinov is not helping.

To be honest she is one of the best attackers and this is why people are afraid of her. But she is "bad" at blocking even in Germany.

Possibly she’s their best option already with their limited budget? And she had her good moments in previous seasons, but I haven’t watched them a lot this season so I can’t tell if she becomes worse.
They called Isabelle “Anna Haak” like 5 times in this set so far
Chieri should try to change things up. May be they could put Madison at the opp and they'll have a 4 receivers.

I'm watching with delay and I'm at this point now, he even called Kaja 'Grenoble' like the French city this second commentator is not easy to listen to, just gimme British guy (is it Clayton?) by himself.

She has been one of best player of italian league for many years
The players of Chieri are irritatingly indifferent. Like they are accepted their defeat from the first minute of the match. Also Malinov is terrible with this Grobelnaball
Chieri went toe to toe with Conegliano in set 1&2 until 10 points then started losing gas.
These 2 teams are basically the same style but Conegliano has better players in each position, and also has Haak and Santarelli
At this point Wolosz and Fahr are flat out bullying Weitzel
Wołosz and Fahr are slaying today!
Just finished set 2, daaaaamnnn that spike by De Kruijf to finish off the set it's so sad that she cannot play more because of foreigner limitation, besides this double sub. Gennari was doing great digs as well kuddos to them for coming in and performing like this.
I agree that Chieri does not look like themselves, but honestly with Imoco this fired up it woud be very difficult to win a set even if they played their best.
