Gabi carried Imoko yesterday, Lukasik will be weak point in the team

Thanks, just like I thought. I expect Lanier to play more than Lukasik this season

Gabi was amazing. She scored 26 points. She fit perfect with Wolosz. Lukasik did not play well. She was a liitle bit invisible. Apparently Lanier who played good will start in supercup final.

Try this one:
. Rai also broadcasted the match, but you might need some VPN to watch.Coming to the matches, some scattered considerations:
- Scandicci will need the best from Antiga and their top players in order to repeat last season, because the balance Italians-foreigners is precarious and the Oh unit hasn't improved;
- Novara looked quite good, if they finally manage to have the whole roster healthy I totally see them above Scandicci and very close to Milano and Conegliano;
- Milano doesn't seem to have fully solved the consistency (quite incomprehensible how they nearly threw away the match against Scandicci) and choices problems, but once again they're the most credible rival to Conegliano;
- Conegliano starts with good premises (the newcomers seem to have immediately fit in, the teamwork is always spot on and they showed they can win even when they don't field the best team), but friendly matches are friendly matches and even though they're looking for another dominating season I'll wait until Supercoppa and the first official outings before saying something definitive.

Gabi and Moki in the back row... that is gonna be one hell of a fight to put the ball down for their opponent

Agree.
- We all knew Scandicci was going to be in trouble after seeing the OH signings for this season. To me it makes more sense to play Gennari and Brenda cuz at this point I'm not sure how much Maja can contribute. That would also allow Carol and Baijens to be both starters, although I wanna see Graziani having more playing time.
- Actually, I like Novara with this current formation. Took is a great spiker but moving her to position 4, I don't know how the team can perform given that her passing is abysmal. Also we don't know how Akimova will perform after her injury.
- This season, I see Milano as the favorite. If Sylla maintains her good form, and they solve their setting issues with both setters and Orro (which she can as she's shown before), then they can steal some cups from Conegliano this season. Courmayeur was more of friendly and Milano's serve was incredibly bad. I get that they had Gabi and Moki in front but you can't let a team leave the court with almost 70%+ in reception.

What was akimova's injury and when will she be recovered?

I hope Lanier plays more this season. This is her fifth season in the pros. I’d love to see her as primary OH for her team.
Lol. Plummer is the the main reason Imoco won the CL and Scudetto. Zhu at the level she's shown during NT season and during the last part the season last year would be lucky to have some court time. Even Lanier is a better option now.
My question is Plummer’s consistency, like at the Olympics. One good match (Brazil) and lots of average to sub-average ones. And no Kelsey. Tijana needs help! I want to see Tijana and Eczacıbaşı get the wins. She always comes close but doesn’t get the big wins in the end! Let’s see how Plummer returns after injury.

She had shoulder operation
She return at 2025

Shoulder injuries are nasty, hope she can get back to her pre-injury shape before end of season

the problem is Gennari is so bad. They would be fine if they had a better local setter and saved maja for CL or something but Gennari is so terrible

I dont expect any loose for Imoco this season. Even it will be more boring than last 3-4 years.
I wonder if the Americans can help Boskovic enough. The size alone should be helpful Ecza has the quality depth they didn’t have before now. I think if anyone is gonna beat them it’s them. The Americans/Gray and Boskovic is a very potent combination and finally between Jack, Rettke, Plummer, Gray, Hande, and Stevanovic I think surely at LEAST one of Them if not more can help Boskovic in a big match. Imoco is definitely favorite but I’m hoping that with this size upgrade and legitimate depth that Ecza could do something because they played imoco closer than I expected last year without these strong additions

I think Tunc is talking about only the italian league and italian teams but Eczacıbaşı is not an elite level at any element to challenge with İmoco. That's the main problem.
There are better teams than Eczacıbaşı; Fenerbahçe and Milano are good enough to take 1-2 cups from İmoco.

I don’t think Milano is better than Ecza. FB might be though. I also thought he meant that they would go entire season like in everything with no losses. I could see them going undefeated in Italian league. Milano is their only threat there unless scandicci gets it together. I like novara but don’t know if they have enough for imoco
